We were engaged by the joint venture of Gammon Construction and Engineering Pte. Ltd and Bachy Soletanche Singapore Pte. Ltd. for a technically demanding project within the MRT protection zone. This project required the excavation of a deep shaft and the installation of a sewer pipeline using advanced tunneling techniques. The combination of pipe sleeving mining and micro Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) methods was used to execute the project safely and efficiently while minimizing the risk of settlement or damage to the MRT infrastructure.
