Lim Cher Kiang was born and raised in Singapore and has always had a keen interest in the construction industry. At the age of 15, he started working in the construction industry after dropping out of secondary school. From a small worker with a hoe, to learning to drive an excavator, and then to the position of supervisor. However, these efforts were not in vain. He was able to enter the construction industry only because of his enthusiasm for underground pipelines, his exhaustive absorption of knowledge, and the help of many noble people.
In 2007, 45-year-old Lim Cher Kiang started his own business and founded TECIVIL ENGINEERING PTE LTD with two like-minded people. At the beginning of its establishment, it adhered to quality management, integrity and customer satisfaction and won the recognition of its partners. However, it quickly developed into a BCA L5 company.
In 2018, Lim Cher Kiang and his wife Jasmine Tan decided to acquire the remaining shares because they realised company has drifting away from the original concept. Under their leadership, the company flourished. In just 5 years, the company has grown from 20 people to a team of 80 today. It has taken on increasingly complex projects and has become a trustworthy partner among peers in the construction industry. Reform and advance through the right ideas, perseverance and relentless pursuit of excellence in technology and knowledge.
At present, TECIVIL ENGINEERING PTE LTD has developed into a small and medium-sized enterprise with high reputation, high quality and high standard.
